DIVERGENT - MOVIE!!!

Let me say and ask myself why the heck I have not read this yet???? well I know why....

I haven't picked up Divergent by Veronica Roth because of all the hype... I admit I'm afraid of picking up books with so much hype around them. I just don't like disappointing myself....

So I decided to watch the movie and maybe borrow the first book from the library to see If I would enjoy it. I was almost certain I would not enjoy it. Well... the movie I very much enjoyed.

Now I went to this knowing nothing about the story except for Tris and Four, which I knew were the main characters but nothing more.

Now, I'm not going to say anything about the plot because I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but only that the ending left me wanting more. Honestly I have no idea what it's going to happen next. My mom was surprised to know there are two more books to the story. I would be too if I hadn't known. It ended quite well. I'm really looking forward to the books and next movies. Oh, can we all agree how handsome Four is?? ;)

One For The Money MOVIE TRAILER!

One for the Money by Janet Evanovich is being turned into a movie which I think will hit the theatres this year. Now even though I loved the book and the characters-they were so hilarious- I can't say the same for the movie. Just by watching the trailer I don't think I'll like it.

The choice for Ranger is just perfect I think but Morelli I don't think so. Anyway I'll have to see the movie to get the whole picture.

Thoughts: Beastly MOVIE

'Beastly' Poster - beastly-film photo
I went to see Beastly last Sunday and it was nothing like I was expecting it to be. I read the book almost a year before so I was a bit fuzzy over some details of the book but most part of the story was alternated. The movie was different from the book in a lot of things.

But during the movie I forgot the book and got absorbed in it. Even though it was changed a lot I liked it more that I would normally (I just hate it when they change things from the book). I would totally say go see it even though it's different from the book. I think it's the first movie that I liked even though it was changed so much.

Wathing this movie and have already seen I Am Number Four, I realized that I don't want Alex Pettyfer for Jace in the upcoming movie of City of Bones, The Mortal Instruments. He looks great for Jace but it's just that, he looks like Jace.

So, what did you think about the movie? Liked it? Loved it? Hated it?

You can find my review on the book here.

Thoughts: I'm Number Four MOVIE

I just came back from the movies where I saw the I'm Number Four movie. I got recently the book and was thinking of reading it before heading to the movies. But then I though it would be nice to be surprised by it, since I had no idea what the story was about except from the very basic.

The movie started slow at first but then picked up after the second half. My favorite kick-ass character was number six with a British accent which I liked. I loved the fight scenes and all the cool powers number four  and number six had.

I don't know if in the book you get to see the love progress between John and Sara, but if you do then I didn't see it on screen. The acting wasn't that terrible but I believe that it could have been better. I want to hope that the book is better than the movie. But then, they always are.

I did enjoy the movie, with my favorite parts being all the scenes with number six and Sam. Something tells that those two will be together in the future. They're so cute together!

A thing that bothered me and always does, no matter what movie I'm watching, is the deleted scenes they use in the trailer and then don't use in the actual film. Did you notice the scene in the trailer where John asks what number he is? Well that wasn't in the movie at all. Instead the movie started with John knowing what number he is.

Love number six! I think she made the movie so much better and love the song they used by Adele. One of my favourites.

Have you seen the movie? What were your thoughts?

The Next Harry Potter

Did you go to see the Harry Potter movie? I did! Yeah!

The movie was good. Really good. To be honest I wasn't expecting it be that good. They managed to stick and follow the storyline according to the book. Of course in two and half hours you can't expect them to fit the whole story in but as a part 1 it was good. I was so disappointed from the last movie and how poor it was done compared to the book that I wasn't sure I wanted to go to see it. But who am I kidding? Of course I went.

I really enjoyed the movie and I wanted to share it with you and share some other exciting news too!

Are you wondering about the next Harry Potter movie? It may seem soon since the movie just came out (part 1) and we have the rest of it to wait until July but many are speculating about the next 'big movie', throwing book titles out there like candies confusing us, exciting us and disappointing us. Some of them have actually been put into fast forward but nothing guarantees us though that they will actually be turned into movies. Some of them are mostly likely and I can't wait to see the results.

Seeing all these great books makes me feel bad since the only books I have read are the Mortal Instruments (I need to catch up!) but the rest are all on my TBR list.

What do you think? Is the next Harry Potter among these books?
