If you're a fan of Science Fiction what is your favourite book? If you haven't read Science Fiction before...any inkling to? Anything catch your eye?
When I think of Science Fiction my minds goes to books that have aliens in it. Of course I think it has more to do if a book, the story, is based on science.
So based I would say I have only read two Science Fiction series.
The Midnighters by Scott Westerfeld
and Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer (My favourite)
I do like this genre but I find it hard to find good books... so any suggestions?

This week's question is:
Which book(s) would you like to see turned into a movie?
I would defenitely want to see (and can't wait for it!) The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare turned into a movie. And yeah that'll happen! So I guess I would like to see a good film out of it.
I would also like to see on screen Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick, just to see that sexy bad boy Patch!
Another one would be the Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer series. I think it would be fantastic!

New follower. I could not come up with any for this genre, I'm more into fantasy. Have a great weekend:)
I really haven't read too many SF other than Star Wars books years ago when I was a kid.

Just stopping by to share some Friday blog love! My favourite Sci-fi books are The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series. You should definitely try them if you like Artemis Fowl as Eoin Colfer wrote the final one. Also Scott Westerfeld's other books, like the Uglies series, are quite scifi-y

Did you like The Midnighters? I've seen a few books by Scott Westerfeld that looked interesting. I've never read anything by him, though.
Hey stopping by for the hop! I’m a new follower.

My Hop
I've read the Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld, so I guess that sort of counts as scifi...but I consider it to be better LOL!
Have a good weekend!

I've heard such great things about Scott Westerfield - but I haven't read any of his books yet! Bad me! I really need to rectify that. I definitely recommend you give Academy 7 and Across The Universe a try!
Oooh, I'd love to see Hush, Hush as a movie! But can we really handle seeing Patch in real-life-honest-to-god-HOT-HUMAN-BODY? *fans self* Oh bring it!
Looking forward to see how the TMI series translate to screen aswell!
New follower and here thru the hop.
I totally agree with Artemis Fowl. I need to get back to reading that series but I would love to see the first book as a movie. :)

Just hopping by! Thanks for stopping at Reading Lark. I agree that Hush, Hush would make a great movie. I just hope they'd get a good Patch. His casting would make me nervous.
