Interview with Lily and Ryder.
Hello guys. Thank you for agreeing to this interview.
1. Lily, since we know about how you felt when you saw Ryder, this question is for him. What were your thoughts and feelings when you first saw Lily this time?
Honestly? I thought, “Wow! She’s never going to learn how to walk ...” Of course, she was a toddler at a time, out with her Mom. They were feeding the duckies in Central Park, and Lily’s feet kept wobbling, and she fell down a few times. Yeah, I sort of kept an eye on her, from a distance, before I made myself a part of her life.
2. Lily, you have always known your magic. Did you ever thought using it for your own benefit? Like getting a cute guy to like you? Of course this is before Ryder.
Nope, not really. That would’ve actually required me to notice boys and since they were always strictly hands-off, noticing them would’ve been pointless. Besides, I generally thought I had all I needed. Wacky Mom? Check. Wackier BFF? Check. Coolest Dad ever? Check. I mean, yeah, people ran scared when they saw me like I was a plague-carrier, but that couldn’t be helped. Overall, I was doing okay.
3. Lucian did something remarkable good for his nature, by sacrificing himself in order for you two to be free to love each other. How do you both feel about that?
Ryder: I have nothing but respect for a man who knows how to lose. And given his track record, he surprised me, I’ll tell you that.
Lily: I’m grateful. No way would I have thought him capable of something like that. I mean, Lucian? King Maneuverer and Master Puppeteer? Ha! And then he goes and does something like that. Very confusing. Incredibly selfless. I’ll always be grateful to him.
4. Lily, can you tell me what you do to cheer Ryder up on a bad day? The same goes for you Ryder. What do you do to cheer her up?
Lily: Ryder doesn’t have bad days, I swear to you. He’s super calm-cool-and-collected guy ALL the time! It’s almost annoying. He’s got this Yoda-esque serenity vibe about him. It’s like, since Lucian split, NOTHING can ruffle Ryder anymore. Which, now that I think about it, it’s not actually a bad thing.
Ryder: She does have some bad days, sometimes. As far as I can tell, two things work: kissing, or a piece of blueberry pie from Hopscotch, which is kind of embarrassing for me to admit. That my girlfriend puts an equals sign between a piece of pie and a kiss from me. But that’s Lily for you.
5. Ryder can you tell what you dislike the most and what you love the most about
her?
Dislike? No, there’s nothing I dislike about her. Except for, maybe, the pie thing I was just talking about, ha-ha. I love her bravery. I love that she’s selfless and caring. I love her sarcasm. I love how she fits in my arms.
6. Lily? How about you?
Okay, the only thing that bugs me is that shiny death trap he still rides every day.
Ryder: Here we go again ...
Lily: No, seriously. It’s not safe. And I don’t think he fully understands that he can DIE now. He can have an accident and he can actually DIE for the first time in four centuries. I’m always panicking about that. But I don’t know if that really qualifies as something I dislike about him. I mean, Ryder is Ryder, you know? MY
Ryder, tailor-made for me. The flame to my moth, the metal to my magnet. He’s perfect for me.
7. Can you describe me your typical day?
Ryder: Well, I still live in the McArthur cabin, from where I ride to her house every morning to take her to school. We stop by Hopscotch after classes, because Lily needs her ...
Lily: Pie, that’s right. I love my pie!
Ryder: Right, so then we’re off to Dave’s Garage, where she’s doing homework, while I work...
Lily: That’s what you think. I’m actually there to spy on your glorious manliness.
Ryder: No comments on that. We eat dinner with her Mom at night, then work on homework for another hour or two.
Lily: Huh! So that’s what you’re calling it?
Ryder: Alright, alright, there might be some additional non-homework stuff going on during that time. And then we say good night, but we usually end up speaking on the phone until she falls asleep. That’s pretty much how it goes, yeah.
8. How do you imagine your life from now on? Any future plans?
Lily: Well, we’re both waiting to hear from Cornell, because that’s where we want to go. After, we don’t really know yet. We talked about it and we both want to live in a small town. Maybe not Rosemound, because Rosemound is REALLY small, but somewhere nearby.
Ryder: And we want to be close to her parents because family is important. And Savannah and Nicholas are really great.
9. Can you describe each other in a few words? Or even through a song?
Ryder & Lily (speaking together) : Love of my life.
10. One last question. Did you tell Lily’s parents about your wedding? How did they react?
Ryder: Um ... ahem ... um, no. I think Nicholas would not be very happy about it. In fact I think violence would ensue.
Lily: We talked about it. I mean, we considered it, but then we decided to get married again. I don’t actually remember our first wedding what with it happening four CENTURIES ago and all. Plus, it would be kind of selfish not to let Mom and Dad see us get married. Not to mention J, who would totally kill us if we denied her the opportunity to parade ... whatever she’s thinking of wearing at our wedding.
Ryder: God helps us all.

Witch And Angel Tale
my review here.
Like most girls at Rosemound High School, seventeen-year-old Lily Crane is acutely aware of Ryder Kingscott. Hands down the cutest guy in school, Ryder is cool, mysterious, and utterly untouchable-especially for Lily. For when she touches someone, Lily instantly learns all about their lives. And while such a skill might seem nifty, in truth it is wrecking Lily's life. So she socked when Ryder asks her out-and even more shocked to discover he has a rival. Lucian Bell is the gorgeous new kid who can't take his eyes off of Lily. Being pursued by two hotties should make a girl happy, but Lily is skeptical. The boys act as if they've met before, hating each other with a passion that could only be rooted in a dark, dangerous past. A past full of terrible secrets. The kind of secrets that could get a girl killed.
